After listening to the call, Jesus Christ invites us to remain in him, the true vine, to bear fruit and communicate his message of peace and love. As charism carriers and partners in mission, we are incorporated into the same vine. Over the next few months, we will explore how to share this message of love, enriching our communities, families, and the whole world.
The process of communication involves effectively transmitting messages, ideas, dreams, and even emotions to others. We are relational people, and as such, it is essential to connect with our surroundings and neighbors, and to build relationships to establish connections among us near and far. To transmit or communicate a message, it is necessary to take some steps to make it know informing or notifying the message:
Communicate: Process of informing, announcing, notifying, or making the message known to some or everybody.
Create connection: This involves attentive listening to emotionally connect with others. (a synodal exercise)
Share meaning: Transmit a message in a way that is being received and understood, spreading a mood or an emotion.
Intention: Design the message with an objective and purpose.
As we continue to share a message of love and peace with others, I hope these simple steps help us communicate in a meaningful way.
