Outreach: How We Communicate Our Message Effectively

May Gathering for Charism Carriers

To communicate, we must have voice. To have voice, we must first have breath. This gathering will offer space to reflect on how we give voice to our charisms and missions along with practical tips for effective communication.

The discussion will be lead by Leadership Collaborative Associate Director Tammy Townsend Denny. Tammy has spent the last 10 years work with and among Catholic sisters, including as the national director of communications for the U.S. province of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. She has served on the board directors for Communicators for Women Religious and currently co-chairs CWR’s professional development committee.   

Please bring paper and colored pencils, crayons, markers, or some other instruments to write with.
